Anderson Business Incubator: Who We Are

Running a business is hard. A common figure in the industry is that 50% of all small businesses fail within the first year, and 95% of small businesses fail within five years. Out of those failures, there are two central causes: poor management and lack of capital.

The National Business Incubator Association has invested in scholarly studies of business incubators nationwide, and they found that 87% of businesses that graduate from an incubator stay in business.

The Anderson Business Incubator’s mission is to grow your business, and we do that by providing excellent business consulting, sharing the cost of common business resources, and providing low-cost office spaces.

Since the Fall of 2010, the ABI has been working with business interns in their areas of study from Anderson University's Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE). The AU SIFE team has been recognized nationally as a top SIFE chapter for the past twelve years. ABI clients have access to interns in accounting, finance, marketing, management, and business development.

If you are interested in becoming a client at the ABI, please contact ABI Operations Manager, Monica Crowe at mlcrowe@anderson.edu or visit our Application page on our website: http://andersonincubator.org.
